About
Designer focused on AI and SaaS products. I work end-to-end from problem framing to shipped UX, with a strong push on clear flows, design systems, and data-led decisions.
I work closely with PM, engineers, and business teams to ship work that moves metrics like activation, adoption, and time to value. Known for pairing solid product thinking with high-quality UI craft and collaboration.
Hello 👋, I'm Akash, an engineer turned into a long-term self-taught User Experience & Product Designer and now, Design Engineer.
I’m a Senior Product Designer who builds AI products that people actually trust and use.
I work at the intersection of AI, data-heavy workflows, and enterprise SaaS. My sweet spot is turning messy data into simple tools that help real teams make decisions fast.
I believe AI only wins when: - people trust it - people can inspect it (show the evidence, not just the answer) - people can fix it (tight feedback loops) - it fits into daily work with low effort
What I typically build: - AI copilots that let users ask questions, filter, compare results, and reuse workflows - insight dashboards for metrics + root cause analysis (with clean drill paths from “what happened” to “why”) - systems for labeling, calibration, versioning, and human vs AI review so models improve safely - design systems (tokens, core components, table patterns, layout rules) that help teams ship faster and stay consistent - role-based home experiences and localization patterns for global users - internal tools (Figma plugins, templates, docs) that save time and reduce design and dev friction
How I work: I’m hands-on, fast, and detail-obsessed. I prototype a lot (sometimes with code) to test behavior, not just visuals. I can also step into product thinking when needed: customer interviews, problem framing, roadmap tradeoffs, and writing clear product stories with engineers.
Background: I’m an Electronics & Communication engineer. I spent most of college building real things: coding, designing, and shipping side projects. I also built a community product for designers that grew to 2,000+ members.
