JOEY BRIONES is Founder, President, and CEO of Briones Industries Business Management Services – a professional consultancy firm with over half a century of combined Human Resources and General Management experience gained from multinational companies, conglomerates, healthcare, airlines, fast-moving consumer goods, and telecommunications He is an accomplished senior Human Resources executive with close to 30 years of experience helping organizations build high-performing cultures, developing leaders, and navigating business transformation. Some senior HR leadership roles he held in the past include:

• Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Metro Pacific Health – the largest private healthcare network in the Philippines with over 30,000 employees and 31 hospitals. • Chief Human Resources Officer of Angkas Technologies – the country’s leading technology-enabled ride-hailing platform with over 55,000 riders. • Executive Vice President for Corporate Human Resources at United Technologies – Concepcion Industrial Corporation. – a conglomerate with brands such as Carrier Air conditioners and Otis Elevators and Escalators. • Chief People and Culture Officer of Altantic, Gulf and Pacific Group of Companies – a global conglomerate in Liquified Natural Gas infrastructure and industrial engineering solutions • And Human Resources Director for the Philippines-Indonesia Cluster at Merck Inc. – one of the world’s leading US pharmaceutical companies.

What sets Joey apart is his passion for helping organizations prepare for the “Future of Work.” He works at the intersection of people, business, and technology – helping leaders strengthen organizational culture, develop talent, embrace Artificial Intelligence, and build workplaces where both people and businesses can thrive.

He is a frequent speaker and a thought leader, sharing practical insights on leadership, organizational transformation, and the evolving world of work. Outside of work, Joey is an avid musician who plays lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums, sings, and even enjoys DJ Club Mixing. He often says that leadership is a lot like being in a band: it's about creating harmony, keeping everyone in rhythm, and knowing when to let others shine.
