Praveen Kumar Teotia was the point man of the MARCOS team that entered the Taj on 26 November 2008. He took four bullets, kept fighting, and helped bring more than 150 people out. He was awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the President of India.

Doctors told him he would never run again. He has since finished four Ironman triathlons, thirty-two marathons, and the 72km ultra at Khardung La.

Today he practises law at the Delhi High Court and the Armed Forces Tribunal, working on disability pensions, battle casualty claims, and veterans' benefits. Ask him about navigating a pension claim, life after a career-ending injury, or building back when the plan is gone.
